Just like he told ESPN’s Josina Anderson on Wednesday, New York Giants defensive back Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie returned to the team’s practice facility on Thursday, a day after he was suspended by head coach Ben McAdoo

After meeting, the Giants announced that Rodgers-Cromartie’s suspension is indefinite, though the maximum time of a suspension given by a team is four weeks. Still, the 10-year veteran is in danger of losing $410,000 per week.

Rodgers-Cromartie and McAdoo had an apparent “altercation” stemming from Sunday’s Week 5 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, which dropped the Giants to 0-5 on the season.

The defensive back’s actions led McAdoo to bench him for Sunday night’s upcoming game against the Denver Broncos, which is why he left the team’s facilities on Wednesday, per ESPN’s Jordan Raanan
