‘Glee’ star Mark Salling arrested on child pornography charges

Mark Salling, who starred as bad boy Puck for six seasons on the musical comedy series “Glee,” was arrested today for possession of child pornography, according to Variety. The arrest took place this afternoon at Salling’s Sunland, California, home after it was searched by the LAPD’sInternet Crimes Against Children Task Force, who arrived with a warrant.

According to TMZ, policefound hundreds of images on Salling’s computer featuring “children … significantly younger than 15- and 16-year-olds.” Sources tell the website that the police were tipped off by an angry ex-girlfriend of Salling’s.

Salling, 33, has had previous run-ins with the law, including allegations earlier this year that he pushed ex-girlfriend Roxanne Gorzela, who sued him for sexual battery. For today’s arrest, Salling was transported to Downtown Los Angeles for booking. His reps have not yet released a statement or responded to requests for comment.
