Google aborts flights to WTC

When Google’s new “Flight Search” tool debuted on Tuesday, it listed the World Trade Center as a potential flight destination.

The tool uses old flight data that referred to the helipad on the roof of the WTC, which was closed in 1984.

Google initially marked it as “unavailable” on the Google search, but quickly removed the tasteless terminus.
