Police have announced that a suspect wanted in connection to a slashing attack on a worker in a popular Greenwich Village eatery is now in custody.

Last Wednesday, police said the suspect, accompanied by three others, entered Silver Spurs Diner at 490 LaGuardia Place around 8 p.m. After being asked to leave the restaurant for asking customers for money, the suspect allegedly returned five minutes later and attacked a 25-year-old worker.
