An armed biker fired opened fire ona man in a car on the Long Island Expressway Saturday, police said.

The motorcyclist was headed east on the LIE inFlushing when he fired multiple shots into another vehicle, police sources told the New York Daily News. The incident occurred around 11 p.m.

The car’s driver was hit three times in the left arm, and was rushed to New York Hospital. He is in stable condition.

Police said the gunman later jumped off his motorcycle near Exit 21 and 108th Street and ran off, NY1 reported.

NY1 sources said the victim had fathered a child with the shooter’s ex-girlfriend. According to these sources, the woman was in the car with the victim at the time of the shooting.

The gunman is still at large, and no suspects are in custody over the shooting.
