Paltrow, 45, and Falchuk, 46, started dating three years ago, having met on the set of “Glee” — of which Falchuk was one of the co-creators. And according to an insider, the couple has long had marriage on the mind. “They both knew it would happen, but it wasn’t a big thing to them because they were both in long marriages before,” the source says. There wasn’t a rush.
Paltrow and Falchuk — potential portmanteau Palf—k? Paltruck? Faltrow? — kept their courtship under wraps until September 2015, when they attended the L.A. premiere of “Scream Queens” together. A month later, the multihyphenate told Us Weekly that things were going “great.” Use your words, man!
“I think she just supports everything I do, thankfully,” he said at the time.
The newly engaged couple are reportedly waiting to announce the big news on GOOP (because of course), but they’ve already taken engagement photos. Sure!
