A man who had “only smoked a little bit of weed” after leaving Hemp Fest over the weekend survived a fall onto the Red Line tracks, grazing the third rail, according to an MBTA police report.
According to reports, the 19-year-old man told police he had just come fomr the pro-pot rally on the Common and he didnt know how he ended up on thr tracks as a Red Line train approached.
MBTA transit police reported that just after 6 p.m. on Saturday, the Brockton man was standing on the platform at Park Street when he fell.
The man lost his footing near the tracks and landed on the railway.
At the time a train was pulling into the station, but the driver was able to come to a complete stop before reaching the man.
The Hemp Fest attendee went to the hospital to check out a minor laceration on the back of his head, according to reports.
