While many New Yorkers will mass exodus the city on one last summer hurrah for Labor Day weekend, many others are staying home. So here’s what you need to know about the service schedules for the NYC subway and buses.

The NYC subway and buses will run on a Sunday schedule on Labor Day Monday. Keep in mind, though, that some subway lines do not operate on weekends, so remember:

• 5 trains runs between Bowling Green and Dyre Avenue
• 5 and D trains will run local in the Bronx
• Use the 6 and 7 local instead of 6 and 7 express
• Use ACDQ instead of B
• M trains run from Metropolitan Avenue and Delancey-Essex Streets
• Use NQR instead of W
• Use J local instead of JZ skip-stop service

Straphangers should also allow extra travel time when traversing the city this weekend on NYC subways due to planned weekend work.
