Here’s the MBTA schedule for First Night, New Year’s Day

Here’s the MBTA schedule for First Night, New Year’s Day

If you plan to ring in the New Year in town for First Night, be sure to check out the MBTA schedule.

First and foremost, the T will stop collecting fares at 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

The subway lines will all run on a modified weekday schedule on New Year’s Eve, and will run on Sunday schedules on New Year’s Day.

All Commuter Rail lines will run on the modified weekday schedule on New Year’s Eve, with the exception of the Fairmount line, which will run on a regular weekday schedule. All Commuter lines will run on the Sunday schedule on New Year’s Day.

Buses will run on their regular schedule on New Year’s Eve and will run on a Sunday schedule for New Year’s Day.

The Boats will run on regular weekday service on New Year’s Eve and will not run at all on Friday.
