TORONTO – H&M has its sights set on both barely-there fashions and more cosy creations with its upcoming guest collections from Sonia Rykiel.
The fashion company founded in Sweden is teaming up with the French fashion house for its winter and spring collections. The partnership marks the first time H&M has extended its designer collaboration to the world of lingerie and related accessories for women.
The collection will be launched in 1,500 stores on Dec. 5 at the same time the Sonia Rykiel lingerie collection is made available at its own boutiques.
The two fashion companies will again collaborate on the spring 2010 collection, this time featuring knitwear for women and girls and accessories. The second collection is scheduled for launch in about 250 H&M stores on February 20, 2010.
