A man police say was homeless was found dead in a NE park Sunday morning.
Police said the body was discovered in a thicket of bushes by a person walking their dog in the small park in the 600 block of 1st St NE.
Duty inspector Rob Williams wouldn’t speculate whether last night’s harsh blast of winter was a factor in the man’s passing, saying instead that the exact cause will be determined by the medical examiner.
Police believe the man, whom they say is in his ‘50s, died sometime overnight in the park.
Foul play is not suspected, police said.
