Steelers fans saw the 2015 season flash before their eyes Sunday in St. Louis and Ben Roethlisberger went down in a heap and was carted off the field.
Roethlisberger suffered a sprained MCL, which was not as bad as many initially feared (an ACL tear was rumored).
RELATED: 3 things we learned in the Patriots’ blasting of the Jaguars ESPN reported Monday that Roethlisberger will miss 4-6 weeks. The best case scenario for the Steelerswould be that Big Ben would return Nov. 1 against the Bengals. The six week timetable, which seems more likely, would have him return on Nov. 15 against the Browns. The Steelers have their bye the following week – weekend of Nov. 22 – so it’s a possibility that Pittsburgh could be ultra-conservative and have him sit out until their Nov. 29 game at the Seahawks.
