In a hurry to mourn? Try a drive-through funeral!

Funerals are no longer about standing around and waiting to pay your respects.

Digital Spy reports Robert L Adams funeral parlor in Los Angeles is now offering a drive-through option for mourners.

Owner Peggy Scott Adams said, “It’s a unique feature that sets us aside from other funeral parlors.

“You can come by after work, you don’t need to deal with parking, you can sign the book outside and the family knows that you paid your respects. It’s a convenience thing.”

Denise Knowles-Bragg, the funeral home’s manager, says the idea isn’t gimmicky or heartless and that it makes it more convenient for the elderly and those on their lunch break. Do they have a brief wake for those just driving by?

Drive-through attendees can sign a visitors book to let the family know you drove by and paid your respects.

More drive-through parlors can be found in Chicago and Louisiana.
