More than 2,500 skiers from 22 countries attended the Gatineau Loppet, one of North America’s largest cross-country ski events, this weekend. The Gatineau Loppet is part of the World Loppet League, which hosts 15 races around the world with events in Canada, the U.S., Europe and Australia. Skiers of all ages participated in races of distances of five, 10, 16, 27 and 49 kilometres.
