A former Bronx middle school teacher allegedly had sex with an underage student and convinced another to send him nude photos, according to special schools investigator Richard Condon.
Wayne Bartley, 46, carried on with a student from IS 229 for over a year when the girl was 13 and 14 years old. The two met at a Bronx motor inn, the report states.
He talked a 13-year-old former student from Brooklyn’s IS 392 into sending him nude photos and shots of her feet, reportedly to satisfy a foot fetish.
Bartley taught at public and charter schools while the allegations took place. He had “inappropriate contact” with a 15-year-old girl who graduated from KIPP AMP Academy Charter School in Brooklyn, where he worked last school year. The allegations were sent to the Bronx and Brooklyn DAs offices.
