DUBLIN (Reuters) – Ireland’s Foreign Minister Simon Coveney said on Monday that both sides in the Brexit trade talks need to deal with the “tricky area of fishing” to help conclude the negotiations.

“The EU offer over the weekend was a very generous one, and countries like France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, and Ireland are very unlikely to make a further offer,” the minister told RTE Radio in response to a question about the EU’s position regarding EU fleet catches in British waters.
