DUBLIN (Reuters) – Ireland is to require arriving passengers to take a COVID-19 test on arrival in addition to one taken in the days before traveling, Deputy Prime Minister Leo Varadkar said on Tuesday.

“Even though we have the strictest border biosecurity already in the European Union, we’ll be making that stricter again in the coming weeks, starting with an additional PCR test on arrival as well as before people arrive,” he said.
