Is Gardner Minshew about to enter AEW WWE pro wrestling

Gardner Minshew mania is running wild right now in the NFL, and Jacksonville Jaguars co-owner Shad Khan could soon look to exploit Minshew’s popularity.

Minshew has an undeniable charisma that is perfect for the wrestling world as the social media darling is currently having Bill Brasky and Chuck Norris-like stories being made up about him.

Khan, the founder and president of All-Elite Wrestling, is launching a new pro wrestling show that will air weekly on TNT starting on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

It is expected that AEW and their competitor, the established WWE, will be hunting for celebrities with cross-over appeal in the coming months as the “Wednesday Night War” heats up.

This is nothing new in pro wrestling, as Vince McMahon once held a battle royal at a WrestleMania that featured NFL stars. Giants legend Lawrence Taylor also once fought Bam Bam Bigelow at a WrestleMania.

The defunct WCW used to feature former NFL linebacker Kevin Greene on weekly episodes of its show Nitro, even during the NFL season.

With Khan running both the Jags and AEW, and with McMahon heavily promoting WWE SmackDown on the FOX network during NFL broadcasts – don’t be surprised if Minshew shows up on AEW’s show “Dynamite” on TNT.
