Ivana Trump is promoting her new book “Raising Trump” and during recent interviews with CBS News and Good Day America, she claimed President Donald Trump would not be the person he is today if it wasn’t for her and that she is the real “first lady.”
During a recent interview with CBS News, Donald Trump’s ex-wife Ivana Trump was asked a series of questions about her life after Donald. During the interview, CBS News host Jim Axelrod asked: “He wouldn’t be who he is without you?”
“That’s for sure,” Ivana Trump said, without hesitation, to Axelrod.
Axelrod also asked if she misses her old life with Donald Trump and despite their 15-year-long marriage, it appears that Ivana doesn’t miss a thing and is living her best life.
“I have a beautiful home here. I have a spectacular apartment in Miami. I have a 300-year-old fisherman houses in harbor of Saint Tropez. What more can I have,” she said.
Ivana also told CBS News President Trump offered her an opportunity to become the American ambassador to the Czech Republic, but according to her, she turned it down because she wanted to preserve her lifestyle.
Ivana Trump did speak highly of her three children during the interview, saying she was very proud of Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka during Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. She called them “articulate” and “intelligent” and said it was her who raised them.
Ivana Trump said Donald is still a big part of her life and that she speaks to him once a week. She claims he asks her for advice about what he should post to Twitter.
“I said, ‘I think you should tweet. It’s a new way, a new technology. And if you want to get your words across rightly, without telling The New York Times, which is going to twist every single word of yours, this is how you get your message out,'” Ivana said she told her ex-husband Donald Trump.

In a separate interview with Good Morning America, Ivana revealed she has the direct phone number to the White House but doesn’t call because she doesn’t want to make first lady Melania Trump jealous.
“I have the direct number to White House, but I no really want to call him there because Melania is there,” Ivana Trump told “Good Morning America” in an interview that aired Monday morning.
“I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that,” she added, “because I’m basically first Trump wife. I’m first lady, OK?”

Ivana Trump, 68, was married to Donald Trump for 15 years, from 1977 until 1992 and is set to release a new book, “Raising Trump” which reflects on her life and raising her three children. The book will hit the stores on Tuesday, October 10.
