The NBA’s much-hyped free-agency period has been something of a bust so far, with big names like Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce staying home.
But things might get interesting soon.
The Cavaliers and Raptors are both reportedly open to a sign-and-trade deal that would send Toronto star Chris Bosh to Ohio. Such a trade would likely set the stage for a Cleveland re-signing of LeBron James, and instantly create a new top contender for the Celtics’ Eastern Conference crown.
But Bosh would have to approve any such deal, and he doesn’t seem keen on Cleveland.
