Those Taylor Swift fans can be tough, so be careful crossing them. At least, that’s what Jared Leto has learned after video leaked of him from a few months ago listening to some Swift tracks for the first time and not being too impressed. What, they guy’s not allowed to have an opinion?

“Oh, I don’t like this at all. Next,” he says while listening to “Welcome to New York.” And while he had some nicer — if tepid — things to say about “Blank Space,” the video ends with him declaring, “F— her. I don’t give a f— about her.”

But apparently he does now, since her measured and totes reasonable fans mounted an online offensive against the “Dallas Buyers Club” star. Within hours of the video going public, Leto tweeted, “The truth is I think Taylor Swift is amazing and an incredible example of what’s possible. If I hurt her or her fans, my sincerest apologies.”
