Johnny Manziel denied first pitch by Indians

Diva quarterback Johnny Manziel, along with fellow Browns’ first round pick, cornerback Justin Gilbert were poised to succeed where 50 Cent failed slated to throw the first pitch Wednesday night.

But rain washed away any hopes of a possible Youtube clip that showed the QB partaking in the honor that was mostly meant to help Indians attendance exceed 30,000.

The two rookies were instructed to leave the Indians’ facilities no later than 8:50 p.m. due to OTA activities Thursday, and with a rain delay pushing back Cleveland’s date with the Red Sox back nearly two and a half hours.

There were instagram and twitter images everywhere of Manziel (who waved to the crowd and made money signs with his hand prior to the game) touring the Indians facility, and one can only imagine what might have happened if he had taken the mound.

Would he have been part of a legendary epic fail? Or would he have thrown a strike, and boosted his own ego just a little bit?

Lucky for the fans who did stay, it was dollar dog night. We’ll just have to wait until the Indians ask Manziel to come back.
