For 67 years, Junior’s has been setting the standard for New York-style cheesecake well beyond the five boroughs.

The cheesecake moguls who started out in Downtown Brooklyn and now have restaurants in Times Square, Connecticut and Florida are chalking up another year of success with a one-day sale.

This Tuesday, Nov. 7, marks the 67th anniversary of the opening of Junior’s Restaurant and Bakery, and in honor of the milestone all five of its locations will be selling slices of their traditional plain cheesecake for just 67 cents.

Whether you dine in or get it to go, the deal is available during lunch or dinner with the purchase of any entrée, like classic deli sandwiches and steak burgers.

Looking for something a little more substantial? In honor of its birth year, 1950, you can also pick up a small plain cheesecake for $9.50 or a large for $19.50.

Even if you don’t live near a Junior’s, you’re not left out of the celebration. Every cheesecake ordered through their online store on Nov. 7 will be discounted by $9.50.

Lest you think little has changed in its nearly seven decades, Junior’s just introduced Pumpkin Pie Cheesecakes this season. Unlike their usual Pumpkin Cheesecake, this one starts with a graham cracker crust, then layers in pumpkin pie filling and traditional plain cheesecake, then gets a topping of pumpkin mousse.

They even have their own trendy towering milkshakes that balance an entire slice of cheesecake. Not bad for a 67-year-old.
