Nick Cannon had a white Christmas – if you count the fluorescent lighting and bedsheets in the hospital. The 36-year-old television host announced via Instagram on Friday that he was not only hospitalized for lupus related health issues, but that he would have to remain there through the holiday.
Cannon’s fans and supporters have been flooding him with well wishes on social media, but some of his funnyman friends showed up on Monday, for a little face-to-face action. Actor Kevin Hart was joined by Dick Gregory and his “Real Husbands of Hollywood” co-star Duane Martin as they paid Cannon a visit. Given that all three of his comrades are comedians, Cannon probably got the most precious present of all for Christmas: the gift of laughter. If those walls could text, they would send 10 “laughing with tears” emojis.
