Just a little more than two months after walking down the aisle with
Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce today, reports TMZ.
The unhappy couple is reportedly not seeking an annulment and will cite
“irreconcilable differences” — because, we’re assuming, “We cashed all
the checks and no one wants to buy the rights to our first Thanksgiving
photos” wasn’t offered as an option.
As you probably remember thanks to their two-part special wedding
special on E! and a flood of media coverage (guilty!), they loosely tied
the knot on August 20 at a ceremony that was estimated to cost
somewhere around $10 million.
We’re not saying we’re perfect over here, but we would have the decency
to fake it for 18 months. Seriously, we’ve committed to packs of gum for
longer than 72 days.
(Also, we don’t want to brag, but we totally called it.)
