Knicks suffer worst loss in Garden history

It took a season and a half, but Mike D’Antoni finally saw an unstoppable team on the Garden floor. Only, he wasn’t coaching them.

The Dallas Mavericks routed the Knicks yesterday afternoon, 128-78. The 50-point margin was Dallas’ biggest win in franchise history and also the biggest home loss in Knicks history.

“They took our heart out of us,” D’Antoni said.

The Mavericks, who had seven players in double figures, pushed the lead up to 53 in the fourth quarter. Dallas shot 58 percent from the field and nailed 12 of 22 3-pointers against a sleepwalking defense.
