Kristen Stewart wants a female James Bond

Kristen Stewart thinks the “stale” role of James Bond could use a gender flip. While promoting her new indie flick “Equals,” the “Twilight” star suggested a female Bond to replace Daniel Craig in the film series.

“You start off as the Bond girl and then you think it’s just the girlfriend and then you’re like, ‘She’s actually [Bond],'” she told E! News. Stewart thinks that the trailer should make you believe that Bond is a man and then pull a “bait and switch” in the actual film. Her “Equals” co-star Nicholas Hoult appears on the rumored list of potential Bonds, but told the E! he was “too young” for the role.
