Calgary police believe the victim in Sunday’s Laguna Way NE shooting was targeted.
The victim was working in his garage around 4:30 p.m. when a passenger got out of a vehicle and fired a single shot, which missed the victim and then entered a neighbouring house, said Staff Sgt. Keith Cain.
“It doesn’t mean for sure that it’s gang related, but they have some type of relations,” said Cain.
The victim is known to police, said Cain, but not believed to be a gang member.
Cain said the vehicle used in the escape was a grey or silver Honda Civic.
The passenger is believed to be a five-foot-seven white male with medium build who was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans. The driver is also believed to be a while male, about six-feet tall with medium build.
