Beyoncé and Jay Z leak information about upcoming tour

In a very “oops” moment, music power-couple Beyoncé and Jay Z leaked information on their upcoming joint tour this morning. Details about a show at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on Monday, July 30th appeared briefly on Bey’s Facebook page as well as Ticketmaster before getting scrubbed from the web.

Complex was able to capture the following screenshot on Beyoncé’s Facebook page before it was retracted:

The last time Beyoncé and Jay Z toured together was the inaugural “On the Run” tour back in 2014. Jay was touring off of his lackluster “Magna Carta Holy Grail” and Beyonce was supporting the release of her classic self-titled album … “Beyonce”.

That album featured the instant classic duet “Drunk In Love” that gave fans a little bit of a peek inside of the steamy romance of Beyoncé and Jay Z. Just last week the couple guested on the new DJ Khaled track “Top Off” where they traded off verses that made it seem like a single to their other famous duet “Bonnie & Clyde”.

Surprising no one, the tour was a massive success earning over one hundred million dollars in ticket sales. The tour’s stop in Paris at the Stade de France was even filmed for an HBO special by the famed Swedish music video director Jonas Akerlund.

Last year, Jay Z released his return to form album “4:44” and Beyoncé has taken a little bit of a break since 2016’s unstoppable “Lemonade”. Perhaps they retracted the tour dates to coincide with an album announcement?

Despite disclosing some of their relationship struggles over the past few years, This tour announcement shows that it is clear that Beyoncé and Jay Z have been able to move past it.  Maybe undying true love does exist?

No official tour dates have been announced, but it seems like the cat is pretty much out of the bag. We will keep you updated as this story develops.
