500 Walnut and other celebrity-worthy homes in Philadelphia

Rumors that Beyonce and Jay Z were house hunting in Philadelphia may have been based more on wishful thinking than reality, but they got us thinking: Where would celebrities live if they were moving to our town? We played realtor and picked out five homes fit for American royalty. And hey, maybe Bey and Jay can check them out when she headlines the Made in America concert at the end of the summer.

1. Bachelor pad
Even the tallest in Leonardo DiCaprio’s posse of models will have plenty of room to stand in stilettos under the 20-foot ceilings at 1352 Lofts at Broad and South streets, set within easy walking distance to his choice of bars and restaurants.

The units have a cool industrial feel with concrete, steel and glass, plus balconies perfect for smoking a cigar or engaging in a water gun fight — both of which we hear he enjoys. And if Leo’s been feeling slighted by all the “dad bod” attention, he can head over to The Sporting Club at the Bellevue, which has a partnership with the condos.

2.DIY space

Condo king Allan Domb is selling raw space on the second and third floors of Parc Rittenhouse, right on Rittenhouse Square, that would be perfect for a design and architecture buff like Brad Pitt. The developer is expecting buyers to opt for 1,000 to 6,000 square feet, but each floor has up to 27,000 available (accessed through a private lobby separate from the main entrance), so Pitt could buy as much as he likes and have a say in every last detail.

Two Liberty Place at 50 S. 16th St. are about as high as you can get, and have a private, exclusive feel despite being right in the middle of everything Center City has to offer. With panoramic, unobstructed views, Cruise could gaze out at the clouds from a luxe penthouse on floor 57 — and be thankful he’s cozily inside, not scaling the building a la “Mission Impossible.”

4. No expense spared
Philly’s flashiest building should house the flashiest celebrities. We’re thinking Kanye Westand Kim Kardashianshould snap up the biggest unit at the upcoming 500 Walnut, from the same developers as the ultra-posh 1706 Rittenhouse.

There are only 38 homes in the building, topped by a two-story penthouse with almost 9,000 square feet of space, accessed by a private elevator. The couple can stand on one of the private balconies — or on the rooftop terrace — and wave to their loyal subjects. After leaving their Lamborghini in the underground robotic parking garage, of course.

5. Room service
If Jennifer Garner needs a post-divorce hideaway, allow us to discreetly suggest The Residences at the Ritz-Carlton on Broad and Chestnut. The building is connected to the elegant Ritz-Carlton hotel and residents get access to all the hotel services, from room service to housekeeping — but Jen can put up a Do Not Disturb sign. With a fitness center, spa, lounge, media room and gated garden onsite, plus the 10 Arts restaurant in the hotel, there’s no need to stray from the property.
