Do you ever have those dreams where your’re surrounded by bacon? Y’know the kind of dreams that leave you craving some fatty, greasy bacon goodness all up in your mouth? The kind of dreams where you wake up in a cold sweat and wander out of your apartent in search of some bacon strips?

No? Maybe it’s just us.

In celebration of it being Friday, and becuase this Web producer hasn’t had his lunch yet, Metro has decided to show you seven of the most omg-put-it-in-my-stomach-please recipes that we could find. From bacon pizza, to bacon mac and cheese, we’ve got the good the so bad it’s goog, and the so ugly it’s beautiful all right here for your eyes to feast on.

Crispy bacon & brie grilled cheese sandwich with caramelised onions

  • 3 large onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

Peanut Butter and Bacon Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of good country white bread, 1/2 thick slices
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked
  • 1 whole banana, sliced
  • Creamy peanut butter
  • Reserved bacon fat

Bacon Wrapped Steak

  • 12 large garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small chunks
  • Kosher salt
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons chopped chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 4 (6- to 7-ounce) filet steaks, about 1 inch thick
  • 4 very thin slices of lean bacon
  • 6-inch wooden skewers or toothpicks, soaked in water 10 minutes and patted dry

Bacon Guacamole

  • 5 strips medium-thick bacon, cooked in the oven and cooled
  • 3 medium-large, ripe avocados, cut in half and pitted
  • 1/2 white onion, chopped into small dice, rinsed in cold water, and drained
  • 2 or 3 canned chipotle chilies, removed from canning sauce, stemmed, slit open, seeded, and finely chopped
  • 1 ripe tomato, cored, seeded, and chopped into small dice
  • 1/4 cup (loosely packed) fresh cilantro, coarsely chopped
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • Salt for taste

BBQ Chicken and Bacon Pizza

  • Dough
  • Alfredo Sauce
  • Monterrey Jack Cheese ~1/4 of a pound, grated
  • Provolone Cheese ~1/4 of a pound, grated
  • 2 chicken breasts pounded thin, marinated in Italian Salad Dressing
  • Your Favorite BBQ Sauce
  • Bacon, cut into small pieces, fried and drained of grease
