Hudson Whiskey, New York’s first post-prohibition distillery, is searching for a new brand ambassador. “Making the Cut,” invites whiskey aficionados to apply for a job representing Hudson Whiskey across the country.
Gable Erenzo, co-founder and current brand ambassador, is stepping down to return to the distillery. Erenzo, who co-founded with his dad Ralph Erenzo, will go back to where he started, trying to perfect the Hudson Whiskey recipe.
Erenzo’s replacement will circle the country, speaking with bartenders, restaurant owners, whiskey enthusiasts and press, hosting tastings, connecting with fans via social media and generally representing the brand.
Interested whiskeyhounds can apply on Hudson Whiskey’s website by uploading a short video or a collection of photos displaying a passion and readiness to be the face of the whiskey. Ralph and Gable will choose several contenders and invite them to the distillery for a month-long course in craft distillation. One winner will “make the cut,” and become the newest member of the brand. Bottoms up.
