What could trump Lucky editor-in-chief Eva Chen announcing her pregnancy via Twitter this morning? Her mentor, Anna Wintour, taking the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, of course. The notoriously serious Wintour showed her playful side in the video released on Vogue’s Facebook page. In it, the Conde Nast artistic director sits on the bench surrounded by kids in her family who then have the honor of dosing the famous fashion maven with ice water.
Wintour was nominated by model Gisele Bundchen and her daughter Bee Shaffer. After completing the challenge, she nominated Roger Federer and actor Dominic West to partake in the charitable act.
It’s pretty great — and we love that despite the bucket of water, Wintor’s famous bob stays put!
