Say so long to Barneys Co-Op.
The high-end department store announced this week that they are retiring the name and converting all Co-Op locations into smaller Barneys New York stores. The design of the store will follow the clean, modern look of the Madison Avenue flagship.
These new Barneys New York locations — such as the newly renovated Upper West Side branch on Broadway and soon-to-be renovated location in Brooklyn — will offer a mix of brands and price points.
In addition to shopping contemporary labels such as Isabel Marant, Theory and Alexander Wang, shoppers can peruse racks of more high-end brands such as Azzedine Alaia, Proenza Schouler and Stella McCartney in these locations as well.
