High-end fashion brands like Proenza Schouler, Dolce & Gabbana and MM6 Maison Margiela are now available in Downtown Brooklyn — and better yet, at steep discounts, thanks to the new Century 21 opening at City Point, today.

“There’s a huge resurgence happening in Downtown Brooklyn,” says Larry Mentzer, Chief Revenue Officer for the brand on choosing the location. “There’s a younger population, very diverse that lives here, and we believe that Century 21— designer brands at amazing prices — is aligned with the folks moving into Brooklyn, as well as the people that have lived here forever, that have been underserved from a retail point of view.”

Located at 445 Albee Square West at Fulton Street, and clocking in at 140,000 square feet, the new store will be the retailer’s second largest location after its flagship in downtown Manhattan.

In addition to tradition women’s, men’s, shoes, accessories, children’s, cosmetics and home, the department store will feature vintage handbags from luxury vintage boutique, LXR&CO and a Brooklyn Roasting Company in-store cafe, complete with wooden floors reclaimed from an old high school gym. In other words, it’s so Brooklyn.
