The Chloé show took an unexpected emotional turn last Sunday with the death of Gaby Aghion, who founded the fashion line back in 1952, just one day prior to the show. “I dedicate the show to her, of course,” said the house’s creative director Clare Waight Keller, adding how she admired her “incredible strength” and “free spirit”. Coincidentally, the British designer paid an unintended tribute to the young and fresh heritage of the house, with some delicate white lace dresses, flowy ethnic-style tunics, which would be just the thing for a romantic getaway.
