Kate Gosselin has had a hard time finding work since her TLC reality show, "Kate Plus 8," was cancelled. And now it looks like her one steady gig, being the world's most famous coupon blogger, has come to an end. Yes, earlier this week, Coupon Cabin's CEO Scott Kluth wrote a letter to his users telling them they let Gosselin go. "A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago, and that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at Coupon
Cabin. It's with this that I am writing to inform you of our decision to discontinue Ms. Gosselin's feature blog on CouponCabin.com."
And boy, did the claws ever come out in the hundreds of comments the statement produced. Some of the finest:
- Celebrity deaths 2018: All the stars we lost too soon 45 Pictures
- 10 finalists for TIME Person of the Year 2018 11 Pictures
"I remember reading her blog and actually saying out loud, 'What does any of this information have to do with using coupons?'" Lynne M
"Well done, Coupon Cabin. My trust in you and your company is renewed." Archergirl7
"It is about time. There was not ONE GOOD COUPON tip she EVER contributed to this class site." Nancy Davis Kuziola
Don't cross online couponers. They are a frisky, money-saving and vocal bunch.
But don't feel too badly for Gosselin: She doesn't need to spend her dwindling cash supply on wrinkle cream or botox. Why??She claims she "de-ages."
When she was asked by Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" last week about the rampant plastic surgery rumors, she said, with a totally straight face, "I am probably one of the rare few who de-age."
It's too bad she's not one of the rare few who de-b--h, either.
Flavor Flav arrested
Flavor Flav was arrested around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning in Las Vegas, reports TMZ. The Public Enemy hype man allegedly assaulted a teenager in his house with a deadly weapon (it’s unknown if this teen is Flav’s son). He was booked on two charges: felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic violence.
There is no word on if the “deadly weapon” was a giant clock necklace or not.
