Raf Simons started the Dior show with a couple of clinical white outfits: simple tops with straight skinny pants beautified with a touch of floral jacquard. The clean cutting continued into tailored ensembles, softened only by their pastel shades. Bermuda shorts gave a hint of a boyish-vibe in an otherwise very feminine collection, while long leather coats were paired with a belt under the breast to elongate the silhouette. But it was the egg-shaped skirts that were kept modern with plain black or white tanks that got the warmest reaction from showgoers, including front rowers Carla Bruni, Marion Cotillard and Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer.
