Wendy’s is rivaling McDonald’s in the app deals category, but most of the deals are for their burgers or thick coffee drinks. Where are the deal for those of us looking for a fast food meal that’s healthy? Well, Wendy’s has us covered there, too.
Wendy’s just launched its first-ever fall salad — the Harvest Chicken Salad — and is giving it away for free (at least for a limited time).
What is the Wendy’s Harvest Chicken Salad?
The free Wendy’s salad is specially made for fall and features red and green apples, apple cider vinaigrette, brown sugar walnuts, feta cheese, bacon and freshly grilled chicken breast. Yum.

How to get a free Wendy’s Harvest Chicken Salad
Starting September 22 — the first day of fall — you can get a half-size Wendy’s Harvest Chicken Salad for free when you download the Wendy’s app. The fine print: Limit one offer per customer, per visit.
The deal is good until October 7, so you have plenty of time to mosey on down to your nearest Wendy’s for the deal.
Other ways to get free food (or cheap food) at Wendy’s
Free salads aren’t the only deal they’re slinging down at Wendy’s. You can get a free Dave’s Single burger with any purchase until September 30.
"We're passionate about serving you fresh, never frozen beef. To prove it, we're giving you a free Dave's Single with purchase every single day for the rest of September on our app. Download now for that free good good," the restaurant tweeted earlier this month.
Grab 50¢ because that’s how much a small Frosty is. Tell your friends. pic.twitter.com/QRAc6NVpcR— Wendy's (@Wendys) September 17, 2018
You can also get a $1 Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, a $5 Dave’s Double Combo and BOGO Premium Chicken Sandwich. Even better: Small Frosty’s are only $.50 cents for a limited time at participating restaurants.
We’ll drink — er, eat — to that!
