target easy weeknight dinners

Don’t know what’s for dinner? Target does. The superstore was already on your list of post-work errands, but now they’re making sure you can cross off that extra stop at the grocery store. The company just launched over 100 Archer Farms items for easy weeknight meals. That means less driving around for mom and more time sitting around the dinner table with your family. Here’s what you need to know about the new items.

Target thinks of everything. Who else would know that, yes, we really do need an $18 wine cube for that party? These heat-and-eat items are no different. They’re not like the frozen dinners that might come to mind. They’re more like “easy meal offerings,” since they range from pasta and meat entrees to appetizers, side salads and soups. When you start thinking about the combinations you can make with all those options, it’s well over 100.

Meet Target’s Archer Farms options for easy weeknight meals

It doesn’t even matter if you have picky eaters at home — or are one yourself — because the new Archer Farms line has plenty for everyone. Kids will love seeing Grilled Chicken Strips, Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes and Homestyle Mac n’ Cheese on tonight’s menu. And moms will love not standing in the kitchen for hours prepping all of that for one weeknight dinner.

They’re not just classic childhood favorites, though. In fact, these offerings get pretty fancy. You can throw together a romantic weeknight dinner for two thanks to their Burrata Lemon Zest Herb Ravioli, Chicken Parmesan and Lemon Basil Pesto Salad. (OK, maybe not the pesto if you’re still getting to know each other.) This is the perfect opportunity to use one of those Wine Cubes you also picked up on your Target run.
