Hard lives with hard bodies

Women celebrities just can’t seem to talk about anything other than their bodies. (Is that because we don’t care about anything other than their figures?) On newsstands now is Kyra Sedgwick telling More magazine she’s “so grateful that I don’t get on a scale because it’s never going to be the right number.”

Meanwhile, Jewel told Shape magazine that when she was called “the chubby Renee Zellweger” by the media, she “ended up binging on an entire cake.” And then there’s Tori Spelling, who is out and about, talking about her new book, “Uncharted TerriTORI.” She just shared with the “Today” show that she does not have an eating disorder. “It’s important, I think, just because at this point of my life I’m a role model for a lot of women and I have a daughter of my own too, so all this stuff, like, ‘She’s too thin, she has an eating disorder,’ it’s definitely something I want to address, because that’s not what’s going on,” Spelling said.

“A role model for a lot of women?” Well, if Tori isn’t anorexic, she certainly is delusional.
