How Transformer toys have changed over time

Whenever you have a big franchise like a Transformers movie coming out, you can be sure that there will be a whole new line of toys to go with it. Just like the movies, Transformer toys have come a long way since 1984. While Hasbro has been the creative forces designing the toys since the very beginning, a lot has changed.

This year, a whole slew of new Transformer toys was released. There are Angry Bird Transformers, new action figures aimed at serious collectors, and new one-step, flip to action changers that are great for younger kids who want to actually, you know, play with the toys. You can see a few below:
