Poor, poor choice of simile, Kristen Stewart. The ever-frowning actress, in an interview with Britain’s Elle magazine, said that the media onslaught on her life is akin to being “raped.”

“What you don’t see are the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre intrusive questions being asked, or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction,” Stewart, 20, said. “The photos are so ... I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped.”

So, being famous and adored beyond your wildest dreams is equivalent to one of the most horrific and devastating things that could ever happen to a woman?

Perhaps she should work on her comparisons. Maybe, “I feel like I’m looking at someone who has a fantastically awesome life.” Or perhaps: “Yay!” Or even, “Eh, you know? Being rich and famous, it’s like being super, super lucky compared to what a lot of other women in the world have to go through.”
