Metro surveyed three Boston-area neighborhoods to see what’s available for $300,000. One thing’s for sure: The farther out of the city, the more space for the price. In Beacon Hill, for example, units are on the market for more than $850 per square foot compared to Chelsea, where each square foot is about $157.
