Yes, we pretty much love every single thing in Anthropologie, but the next time you walk into the store and pick up a gorgeous bowl or dessert plate, you might just be admiring the work of South African artist Ruan Hoffmann.
After his successful gallery exhibition “Much Love Me” at Anthropologie’s Rockefeller Center store in 2011, the brand has been itching to share his gorgeous ceramics and charming quotes with a larger audience.
Hoffmann had the same idea. The Johannesburg painter wanted to bring a little magic to everyday objects. “It’s a lot to wish for from a shower curtain, for instance, but then again it could be the catalyst for a daydream, which would be a start,” he says.
