If you want to get your teen exactly what he or she wants for the holidays, you might want to head to the Apple store early. According to a new survey conducted by online cash back shopping siteEbates.com, the number one item teens ages 12 to 17 want for the holidays is an iPhone.Coming in at number two: an iPad.For boys, the new PlayStation4 tops many lists this year, following by the Xbox and iPods.
If you think your teen will be just as happy getting another type of cellphone as he or she would an iPhone, think again. The 500 teens who took the survey and wanted a cellphone asked for the iPhone specifically, with the Samsung Galaxy being the second most popular phone brand named.
These results aren't that different from the survey Ebates.com did last year. In 2012, iPhones and iPads still topped the list, but 17 and 18 year olds wanted a laptop more than anything else. And Apple wins again.
