Jenny Balding, styling and grooming expert at Cutler/Redken Salons, says to combine the two. She shows us how to create a modern version of the popular retro trend by adding an oh-so-now braid to the mix. “It’s rock ’n’ roll with the braid,” says Balding. “And it’s a way of getting the hair off your neck without having to do an updo.” Bring on the outdoor weddings.
