Despite their messy split in 2009, Blake Fielder-Civil is “devastated and shattered” by the news of ex-wife Amy Winehouse’s death, his current girlfriend, Sarah Aspin, tells the Sun. “I will never ever again feel the love I felt for her,” Fielder-Civil reportedly told Aspin. “Everybody who knew me and knew Amy knew the depth of our love. I can’t believe she’s dead.” Staff at the jail where Fielder-Civil is currently serving out a three-year sentence for burglary and firearm possession have been instructed to keep a closer eye on him. “He just can’t take it in that she’s dead and he’ll never see her again,” Aspin says.
Fielder-Civil, the man many blame for introducing Winehouse to hard drugs, might be shedding tears because he was left out of her will. The Daily Mail newspaper reports that Winehouse and her family made sure that Fielder-Civil was cut out of her $16 million fortune.
What’s surprising isn’t that Winehouse didn’t leave anything for her ex, it’s that she only had $16 million in the bank after the epic sales of the brilliant “Back to Black,” which won three Grammy awards and spent 78 weeks on the charts. In comparison, Kim Kardashian has a net worth of around $35 million — for doing nothing. The world is an ugly place.
Jesse James’ latest ex
Jesse James needs to stop making promises to women: He and Kat Von D have called off their engagement. Von D confirmed on Twitter: “I am no longer [with] Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, that’s all the info I’d like to share.” James, though, was willing to share a bit more, telling People magazine, “I’m so sad because I really love her.” He claimed too much distance was the reason for the split.
