Riders, contracts on what kind of amenities are to be provided for celebrities in order to perform at a certain venue, are nothing new in showbiz (check out our sidebar on the most outrageous celebrity riders below). But Ciara, who is now on tour, claims her rider is “very simple.”
“I love green tea or throat coat or peppermint tea. Fiji water is a must. I like raw almonds in my rider as well, really just to keep it simple because before I go on stage I don’t like to eat too heavy. I have a toothbrush on there and toothpaste and Dove soap,” she told Metro on the red carpet at a concert at New York City’s Beekman’s Beach Club, where she performed as part of the Radio Maliboom Boom Station Invasion Tour. “Maybe when I go on my world tour next time around, I might beef it up. But normally it’s about the catering for me. The rider in the room doesn’t really matter as much as the catering. The good food is where it’s at.”

Aniston actually happy?
After years of agonizing reports about her love life, it seems like Jennifer Aniston has finally found happiness (for now!). The actress and her new boyfriend Justin Theroux are living it up in Hawaii leading up to Theroux’s 40th birthday tomorrow, according to Us Weekly. The couple arrived last week and have spent their time shopping, going on lunchtime retreats and attending a party at Ben Stiller and wife Christine Taylor’s vacation home. “When they left the store, Jennifer was massaging Justin’s shoulders from behind, and he turned around and said something that made her laugh hysterically,” a source says of one of their shopping trips. “They seemed giddy in love and genuinely happy together.”
Can it be? Can our decadelong national nightmare about Jennifer Aniston’s love life be over? For the sake of gossip columnists everywhere, I can officially say: Let’s hope not.
