On Monday, the Rolling Stones announced four live dates to celebrate their 50th anniversary. "Everybody loves a celebration, and London and New York are two good places to do it in!" said Mick Jagger in a statement.
Accordingly, they booked shows on Nov. 25 and 29 in London at the O2 Arena and on Dec. 13 and 15 in ... Newark, N.J.?
Wait, didn't Mick say that the show was in New York? And weren't there plans to do the shows at the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn? And haven't the Stones had some legendary shows at Madison Square Garden? After all, that's where they recorded their famous live album, "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out" in 1969.
Well, New York, guess you can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you just might find that Newark is actually pretty close -- it will just cost you a few points of pride to go over to Jersey for the night. Oh, and it will also cost a lot of dollars. Tickets go on sale Oct. 26 and will range from $95 to $750.
Who’s the blonde with Scott Disick?
Non-news alert: Scott Disick is a terrible person, according to a new story by The Daily’s Flash. The site reports that during a boys’ night out at the Vista Lounge in the Mohegan Sun Casino, Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy was spotted canoodling with a “hot blonde” and acted “incredibly mean” to his waitress.
“His arm slung cozily around a hot blonde with her hair in a topknot, Disick seemed to be loving the bachelor lifestyle,” Flash reported about his questionable actions. “Scott was so incredibly mean,” his bottle waitress was overheard saying. “He literally ripped the bottle out of my hands when I came to the table — and later, he and his friends were just dumping drinks on me. I’m glad to be done with their table for sure.”
Another eyewitness told the site, “It seemed so obvious his relationship with Kourtney is for show.”
If I were Disick, I’d watch out. If he blows the carefully crafted illusion that he and Kardashian are still a couple by getting caught by snoops at a casino, I’m pretty sure he’ll one day soon wake up next to a horse head, courtesy of Kris Jenner.
